Sometimes, people are pressured or forced by partners, family members or others:

Pressuring or forcing someone to make a particular choice is a type of violence.

Sometimes it is called reproductive abuse, violence or coercion. It is never OK.

Remember you have the right as the person who can become pregnant to make your own choices about your body.

This includes making choices about the contraception you use, your fertility and about pregnancies.
